Puppy pals hang out at Brazil's pet parade

Welcome to Brazil's canine carnival, the event where proud pet owners parade their prized pooches.
This little guy, wearing his very own bow tie, was just one of lots of other doggies dazzling spectators in their super-cute costumes.
Some wore superhero outfits, like this dog dressed as Zorro...
... and others came as little kings, queens, wizards and even bees.
But this little chap decided to keep things simple and wore a pair of stripy zebra ears.
The event took place in Rio de Janeiro near the beautiful Copacabana beach.
Rio de Janeiro will be hosting the 2016 Olympic games this summer and these top sports were definitely feeling the excitement!
During the two-hour parade, the pups had the chance to play with their furry friends while a samba band sang: ``It's carnival and the party is animal!''
