A calming, cascading waterfall-inspired soundtrack ft. Nwando Ebizie
Erland Cooper looks to waterfalls for musical inspiration, with music that flows, flutters and cascades over you. And Nwando Ebizie takes us to her musical safe haven.
In every episode, Erland Cooper leads us on a musical journey into calm, more often than not taking inspiration from the natural world. We’ve traced our way through music inspired by the waves, the clouds, the wind and the birds, and tonight we look to a powerful yet peaceful aspect of landscapes all over the world - waterfalls. There’ll be calming and cascading music from the likes of Tony Njoku, Hiroshi Yoshimura and Marysia Osu, and Erland reflects on one of his favourite magical places with a waterfall, Kelburn Glen.
Also, we’re transported to the musical safe haven of the artist Nwando Ebize, based in Todmorden in West Yorkshire. Someone very much inspired by the natural world around her, Nwando selects a song that ebbs and flows, always bringing her calm.
