Willow Foundation

Willow Foundation creates unique experiences for seriously ill 16-40-year-olds across the UK. Our Special Days give young adults facing life-limiting conditions something to look forward to, and the chance to make precious memories with loved ones.

Alex’s story

Alex’s story
Alex was just 36 when he was diagnosed with an aggressive eye cancer, which is now incurable. What keeps Alex going is his family. Willow arranged a break where he spent time by the sea with his wife, Amie, and young children, Oscar and Phoebe.

Precious time

Precious time
Living with a rare condition can be incredibly isolating. Willow Group Days offer something truly valuable – time with others who are going through something similar, and a chance to build lasting relationships with people who understand.

Special memories, together

Special memories, together
Hayley, 39, has metastatic breast cancer. She wanted to use her Special Day for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Arsenal training ground, where her daughter met her hero, Willow Ambassador and Lioness, Leah Williamson.
