Episode 3
The third leg of the race sees the teams leave behind the jungles of Borneo to reach the island of Sulawesi, an Indonesian wonderland that lies far from the tourist trail.
Four celebrities, each paired with a friend or loved one, embark on a journey that takes them to the other side of the world in a 7,500km race from the prehistoric jungles of Borneo to the southern tip of Australia. They must rely on their own resourcefulness and the kindness of strangers to reach the finish line, equipped with just a map and a budget of £26 each per day.
The third leg of the race sees the teams leave behind the ancient jungles of Borneo to reach the island of Sulawesi, an Indonesian wonderland that lies far from the tourist trail. But with the end of Ramadan fast approaching, the teams must negotiate the crowds heading home for Eid al-Fitr.
