John Marquis has been given the chance to stay at The Den as they adjust to life in league One
John Marquis has signed a new one-year contract with relegated Millwall.
The 23-year-old striker's new deal, which includes the option of a further year, was offered after he impressed during a loan spell at Gillingham.
Marquis spent the second half of the season with the Gills, scoring eight goals in 21 appearances.
He has made 53 first-team appearances for the Lions, scoring six goals, and has also had loan spells at Portsmouth, Torquay, Northampton and Cheltenham.
