After a poor start to the season, Erik ten Hag will take any positives going and Manchester United's narrow win over Fulham is certainly a step in the right direction.
The game was petering out into a lacklustre stalemate when captain Bruno Fernandes sparked celebrations in the away end at Craven Cottage.
Will they build on it?
Questions still remain about where United are heading under Ten Hag after another unconvincing display.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has joined a spiralling injury list which includes Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw, while Victor Lindelof missed this match through illness.
At least United can prepare for Wednesday's testing Champions League game with FC Copenhagen in Denmark with something to build on.
