Mikel Arteta believes Brentford are "one of the best-run clubs" in the Premier League.

Brentford famously beat the Gunners 2-0 on the opening day of the 2021-22 campaign, with Arteta's side winning the four encounters since.

But the Arsenal boss was full of praise for Thomas Frank and the club in general before Saturday's match at Gtech Community Stadium.

"With Thomas, with the coaching staff, with the club for me is one of the best run clubs in the league," Arteta said.

"I followed it for many years and the things that they do, the structures that they have, the processes that they have, the vision they have.

"It's incredible what they have done with the resources that they have. Huge credit to them. Not only to achieve and get to this level but to maintain it as well with so many changes and the environment this league demands as well."

On what he expects in Saturday's game, Arteta added: "It’s a really tough opponent, a really difficult place to be. They are really effective, really well-coached and it will be a tough, top match."
