'Ramsdale has to be professional and wait for his opportunity'

I think Aaron Ramsdale will want a chance to prove that he can do stuff with his feet, he might not be as good at that as David Raya, but overall as a package he will say he thinks he is going to be stronger in one-on-one situations, dominating the box, keeping clean sheets and taking the pressure off crosses.
He will say he needs to get better with his feet and he will be prepared to work on it every day to try to please the manager, because that is ultimately the reason Mikel Arteta has changed goalkeeper - because of that distribution element. Ramsdale has got to fight, be as professional as he can be and wait for the opportunity.
I think Ramsdale has come out of it really well, with the fact that he had a really good season last season. You've got to be part of it and then if you realise that you are not going to play, can you go somewhere else?
Hopefully he is going to get better at playing with his feet, and he is going to need to because Mikel is demanding that from his team to get better. He feels like that is the next step and he is not going to change his viewpoint on that.
