Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media before Newcastle's Premier League match against Manchester United on Saturday.
Here are the key lines from his interview with BBC Radio Newcastle:
Howe confirmed no-one will return from injury for the match on Saturday but he is hopeful of getting some players back "in the not too distant future".
He confirmed Joe Willock has had an scan on his Achilles and while the club are hopeful it is not as bad as they feared, Howe says even two to three weeks out at this stage of the season is "still frustrating".
Having analysed the controversial handball in the draw at PSG, he still does not think it was a penalty and feels the "biggest learning is a wish that the referee can go to the monitor with a free head to make the decision on what they have seen".
He added: "I think we all knew when he was going to the monitor he was going to give the penalty, which I don't think is right."
Howe does not think the players deserved the result, but said: "You can't change what has happened, it is there and we just have to move forward."
On the impact of having an extra day to recover than Manchester United, he said: "I don't think it is a big thing because we have been in the situation the other way round and still won games - but we’re at home, which is a big thing for us."
Asked about Tino Livramento's recent games at left-back, he said: "He's done really well. A good player can play in different positions and on different sides. It's different for him, but I love that he's just got on with it and he's not thought too much about it."
On having another big game so soon after PSG, he said: "These games against the bigger clubs are defined by fine margins and big moments. You're looking for big players to step up."
