'It could have been a lot worse'

I do not think Everton will be feeling like it is 'us against the world' after their 10-point deduction.
They will be wondering, 'Why is it us?’' They have had enough turmoil.
From the supporters to the group of players, they must be sick of the whole situation now for the last three or four years. From the ownership to fighting relegation, we’ have seen late drama and late recoveries. They were just about to pull away, showing good performances and then they are hit again.
They will just feel they are right in the middle and can’t get out of it.
The manager will say to continue what they have been doing. They are creating chances, getting results and they will be delighted with their run.
There are some good games ahead and they will look at the other teams and ask if they back themselves. One hundred per cent they will. They will believe they will have enough in that dressing room.
All the teams around them have not scored the points they should have at this moment in time and you have to say at this moment it could have been a lot worse.
