'Fairytale' Socceroos experience has Miller hungry for more

Hibs right-back Lewis Miller reflected on “an unbelievable experience” as he fulfilled his childhood ambition of playing for Australia.
After making his debut off the bench in the 1-0 defeat to England at Wembley, the 23-year-old started the 2-0 win over New Zealand in Brentford.
“It was an unbelievable experience for me to get my first cap, surrounded by world-class players and playing against a top opposition,” Miller told the Hibs website.
“When Graham Arnold told me to get ready and warm up, you are just looking around trying to soak it all in on the touchline.
“I was just so happy to be involved with the camp, it was a fairytale for me to make my debut at Wembley in front of 81,000 fans and hopefully I can experience many more moments like this in the future.
“Against New Zealand, it was another great occasion – ‘The Soccer Ashes’ as we call it. That was a game that suited me to perfection, it was heated, it was a good battle and it was really competitive.
“The experience will help push me even harder at club level with Hibs. The better I play at Hibs the more chance of me getting selected again for the Socceroos and this experience has given me a taste for it."
Miller thanked Hibs and Socceroos team-mate Martin Boyle for helping him settle into the national set-up.
“Boyler has been a massive influence for me at the camp – he helped make the transition into the squad a lot easier and I am very grateful for that," he added.
"He is a top player, he has been killing it for the Socceroos and hopefully I can follow in his footsteps."
