'My preference was Ramsdale, however Raya did pretty well'

Arsenal fan Charlene Smith said David Raya "doesn't fill me with 100% confidence, but he did look better" against Sevilla.
Smith told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I was actually wanting Ramsdale to start the game yesterday, although we have two really good keepers, there have been moments in the last few games where David Raya has made me feel really nervous.
"My preference was to have Ramsdale start yesterday, however Raya went out yesterday and did pretty well. I did see an improvement and he looked a lot sharper compared to the last few games.
"He doesn’t fill me with 100% confidence but he did look better yesterday. He doesn’t look like the same Raya from when he first played for us."
Reflecting on the game more generally, she added: "I was so happy with the performance we put out. It was a completely different performance compared to the game against Chelsea. Mikel Arteta got it spot on making changes."
And on Gabriel Jesus' injury scare late in the game, Smith said: "He’ll be a massive miss. He played such a crucial part in the game and was well deserved man of the match.
"You never want to see any of your players getting injured, but we have got Eddie Nketiah who can step in. It’s disappointing to see him go off like that especially after the beautiful assist and the goal he scored."
