'It's like Jota never left'

We asked you for your thoughts on the season so far at the end of last week.

Here's how you've summed it up:

Gordy: Domestically we are getting stronger, CCV is getting fitter by the game, Luis Palma is a find and is having an impact in every game, Yang has also improved, goalkeeper and left-back are still our weakest areas and need addressed in January.

Anon: A lot of project players signed in the summer transfer window this season. Luis Palma the only decent signing. European results reflected this recently in the Champions League. Time for the board to spend big on marquee signings, or else, Celtic will never be able to compete on the European stage.

Brian: Luis Palma, it is safe to say, is going be a big star for Celtic. The quality of his assists, goals and crosses are like Jota never left. Yang is now coming on to a game too. Scales had been a revelation in defence. Calm and assured. Despite the European humblings and bad luck signs are bright.

Paul: Overall a great job by Brendan given a daunting task of taking over from Ange and the injury list at the start of the season. The players look to be on the same page and the trend is improving. The bench is much stronger which is great, Turnbull can be a huge player for us if he chooses. His class is obvious and his set piece and goal threat is huge.

Iain: Domestically things are looking good and I’m confident Celtic will secure a double. As for European football, the board have almost got the balance correct in regards to spending, but a little more needed. Matt O’Riley, Luis Palma, Liam Scales and Captain fantastic have been outstanding so far. The quicker Maeda and Hatate are back the better.

Chris: Celtic have been pretty decent this season. Change of playing style under the new manager is starting to tick. I think that Palma has been a great signing and everyone else is starting to hit form at the right time. Atletico game aside, it's been classy. Would love to see more of Holm and Forrest though.
