Postecoglou wins manager of the month award

Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou has made more history after being awarded the Premier League manager of the month award for October.

After becoming the first boss to win the prize for his first two months in the league, the Australian has added to his haul by taking it for his third month as well.

He becomes one of only four managers in Premier League history to win three or more monthly awards in a row.

Spurs won all their games in October to finish the month top of the table.

The win at Crystal Palace took Postecoglou's side to 26 points in 10 games, and meant the former Celtic boss collected more points in his first 10 games in charge than any other manager in the competition's history.
