Former Premier League defender Ashley Williams has complimented Rasmus Hojlund's playing style, despite the striker being yet to score in the competition.

Manchester United's £72m signing Hojlund has scored five times in the Champions League, but has been unable to find the net in the Premier League.

"Hojlund impressed me again on Saturday," said Williams. "Although he didn’t score, he’s constantly getting in and his movements are hard to defend against.

"I feel when the first goal comes, more will come. His first thoughts are for the team and he brings energy and pressing to help win the ball back.

"When he's out of possession, he doesn’t just switch off, he goes and presses. He forces them into playing long and he does things that you would like your striker to do."
