Narrow Wembley loss for Rowles and Socceroos

Hearts defender Kye Rowles earned his 12th cap as Australia went down to a battling 1-0 friendly defeat by England.
The centre-half, deployed at left-back by the Socceroos for a game second in succession, slashed a shot over the bar in the first half as the visitors ran England close at Wembley in a game settled by Ollie Watkins' strike.
Next up for Rowles, who was substituted late on, and Australia is a friendly with New Zealand in Brentford on Tuesday night.
