'I'm happy to be back'

Joelinton told BBC Radio Newcastle that it feels "amazing" to be back playing for Newcastle after missing five games with a hamstring injury: "It was a difficult time and difficult start of the season for me with injuries and knocks.

"I'm happy to be back to now after a lot of work on the training ground in the last two weeks. I feel good.

"I think the team played really well from minute one. We got after them, created chances, and we deserved to win.

"I'm very excited to play and I hope I start the game [against Borussia Dortmud]. "I just want to be with the team to help the guys on the pitch.

"I hope I can make my Champions League debut for Newcastle on Wednesday."
