Who should start in goal for Bournemouth?

BBC Radio Solent's Kris Temple, speaking on the Cherries Unpicked podcast about why he believes Neto should remain in goal for Bournemouth despite some recent mistakes: "Every week it's getting harder but he's the captain and because Andrei Radu is completely unproven as well, I just think he's probably got one more chance.

"Another thing to throw in is that he's got three yellow cards, and given the way things are going at the moment, he's getting frustrated about stuff, there's a real chance he gets suspended for getting five yellow cards before the Christmas cut-off. He might come out of the team automatically so there's another factor there.

"At the moment as the club captain, when you do need those senior pros, I think leave him in at the moment.

"There's no doubt he's not been very good. Who knows mentally where he's at? I've heard one or two people say to me about his very close family bereavement at the back end of last season that was made public, nobody knows how much that affects him when he's a long way from home. It's been noticeable this season how his performances haven't been the same as what they were last season.

"I just think this game [against Burnley on Saturday] is too big a chance to throw in Radu."

BBC Radio Solent's Jordan Clark added: "I'm playing Darren Randolph, because I don't know enough about Radu and he hasn't played a great deal of football recently.

"Randolph hasn't played for two years, but he's 36 years old and has over 400 league appearances in his career. Granted, not many have come in the Premier League, but Bournemouth need calm heads, experience and leadership from their goalkeeper. I think because of the form and the mistakes, they aren't getting that from Neto at the moment.

"I think they should chuck Randolph in, but I don't know if he's fit or not because we haven't seen him since he came in. I know it's a crazy suggestion, I'm just looking at the options. If you want to take Neto out, then surely Randolph is the better option than Radu, who has played two League Cup games."
