'Brentford showed so much heart'
- Published
Chris Latchem, BBC Match of the Day commentator at Gtech Community Stadium: "Fans are still dancing in the stands 10 mins after full time at the Gtech and there's so much to dance about. Three wins on the spin, 14 London Derbies without defeat and .... (Neal) Maupay scored a goal!
"Their team showed so much heart today, having led, then trailed and managing to find the resolve to snatch all three points against a good West Ham.
"It was a great moment seeing them celebrate Maupay ending his long drought - and to see him watch it back on the big screen after as if checking it was real.
"Bryan Mbeumo was such a handful on the right side of attack and on another day could have added a couple more to his season tally.
"Thomas Frank deserves credit too. His substitutions (Mads) Roeslev and (Yegor) Yarmolyuk both charged down a late (Pablo) Fornals chance - forcing him to shoot over. Good energy all round."
