Striker Wesley leaves for Stoke

Striker Wesley has left Aston Villa and signed for Championship side Stoke City on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old Brazilian arrived at Villa Park for a then club record fee in 2019.
He made 21 Premier League appearances in his debut season, before suffering a campaign-ending injury.
He spent 2022-23 on loan at Spanish second-tier side Levante.
