Welsh featherweight Brandon Scott is set for six months out of action because he needs hand surgery.

Scott, 20, has won all six of his professional fights.

Scott is due to have an operation in the next fortnight after revealing he has been nursing the injury since his second professional bout.

"As much as I want to keep fighting through it, I can't keep fighting with one hand," the Swansea fighter said on social media.

"So here's to 2024 where you'll see me at my best, injury-free."
