Gloucestershire-Glamorgan washed out in Friends Life t20

Glamorgan's hopes of qualifying for the Friends Life t20 quarter finals appear slim after their match against Gloucestershire was washed out.

The Dragons needed the points to keep pace with joint-leaders Somerset and Warwickshire, but are now five points behind following the call-off.

Gloucestershire remain in the hunt for a last-eight place on seven points.

Rain throughout the day thwarted the ground staff and umpires who admitted defeat following a pitch inspection.
