Northants 165-7 (19.5 ovs) beat Yorkshire 162-7 (20 ovs) by three wickets

England Under-19s star Ben Duckett led Twenty20 holders Northants to a three-wicket victory at Yorkshire.

The wicketkeeper hit an unbeaten 39 from 29 balls as his side sealed the win on 165-7 with just one ball left.

Ian Butler (4-25) had reduced the Tykes to 87-6, but Liam Plunkett (36) and Tim Bresnan (34) dragged them to 162-7.

Northants hit 45 from their first five overs but after David Willey fell for 43, Steven Crook's 29-run cameo looked in vain, until Duckett's late heroics.

The match looked to be Yorkshire's when Ryan Sidebottom ran out Matthew Spriegel to leave the visitors needing nine from the final four balls.

But Duckett smashed a huge maximum to change the game, before Graeme White's four ended proceedings.
