T20 Blast: Rain ruins Durham v Notts game at Chester-le-Street

Durham suffered their first complete Twenty20 wash-out of the summer as the home game with Nottinghamshire was called off without a ball being bowled.

Durham also had last Friday night's game at Northampton rained off a quarter of the way through.

But this one always looked likely to become a total abandonment.

Notts now face a trip to Birmingham to play the Bears on Tuesday night, while Durham are due to be back in action at home to Yorkshire next Friday night.
