Joe Dawborn is the first Peterborough Town player to take 10 wickets in an innings in the top division since 1978
An amateur bowler hoping to break into first-class cricket took all 10 wickets to fall in an innings during a club match in Northamptonshire.
Joe Dawborn returned figures of 10-22 while playing for Peterborough Town in the Northants Premier League.
The 21-year-old also represents Northants' second team on a non-contract basis, and has had trials with both Middlesex and Leicestershire.
"I was trying my best to ruin it," Town team-mate Jamie Smith told BBC Sport.
"It was magical. I was bowling at the other end and every time he delivered a ball it looked like he'd get a wicket.
"Once they [Brixworth] were seven or eight wickets down they seemed to give up, as if they knew it would happen. He's just a different class."

Dawborn, who also plays for Cambridgeshire in the Minor Counties Championship, currently works for his dad as a labourer when he is not playing cricket.
His figures against Brixworth are the best in the 55-over Northants Premier League since 1968, while he also has more wickets than anyone else this season in the 15-division structure.
"He played for us a little bit this year and last year and at this point we're tracking him," said Lloyd Tennant, academy director at Leicestershire CCC.
"Joe's got a good work ethic and is desperate to be a pro. I'm sure at some point a door will open for him.
"He's very accurate and moves the ball off the seam. He's not unlike Leicestershire all-rounder Ben Raine - he relentlessly bowls good line and length."
