Grimsby Town have signed midfielder Louie Soares from Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Hayes and Yeading until the end of the 2012-13 season.
The 27-year-old has scored 16 goals in 34 appearances this season following his summer move from Southend United.
He spent four years at Aldershot among his seven clubs, having initially begun his career at Reading.
Soares, a Barbados international, is available for the Mariners away game at Tamworth on Tuesday.
