Tom Pope headed an 89th-minute equaliser to secure Port Vale a hard-earned point against 10-man Stevenage.
Pope thudded an early header against the crossbar before Vale's Jennison Myrie-Williams fired home a penalty.
Jordan Burrow guided a low shot past home keeper Sam Johnson to level before smashing in his second from six yards.
Stevenage were reduced to 10 men when Michael Doughty was shown a second yellow before Pope met Rob Taylor's cross with an unstoppable header.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"I was staggered by the decisions being made out there today. I've got seven cards. We're going to get another fine from the FA, for what, I don't know.

"One of the officials said to me 'we're well aware of what's going on'. And I beg the question, what does that mean? What is going on? I'll tell you what's going on - there's a prejudice amongst the officials that's going against us. No question about it.
"When a referee or when an official says to me, and it was the linesman not the referee, saying 'we're well aware of what's going on' well it's gone a step too far. I've had my lads telling me that officials are saying it, and I've had it said to me now so I want something done about it.
"Nobody in (the Stevenage) dressing room knows what that penalty was given for. The referee has told me it was given for a shirt pull, but he doesn't know who pulled the shirt. He's pretty sure it was one of our players, but he doesn't know who. I listen to explanations like that and think 'the game's gone crazy'.
