Exeter halted a run of seven league games without a win with victory at lowly Accrington.

Tom Nichols opened the scoring with a neat chip over home goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from 20 yards out.

Nichols fired a low shot from inside the area for 2-0, with Alan Gow scoring their third after a neat turn and shot.

Peter Murphy headed home from close range for Accrington, as did Kal Naismith after the break, while Gow also missed a penalty for Exeter.
