Southport P-P Braintree Town

Saturday's Conference Premier fixture between Southport and Braintree Town has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Persistent heavy rain in the Merseyside area on Friday has left the surface at the Merseyrail Community Stadium unplayable and more rain is forecast.

A decision to call the game off was taken following a pitch inspection at 17:00 GMT on Friday.

No new date has been confirmed for the rearranged fixture.
