Bury 4-0 Plymouth Argyle

A Daniel Nardiello brace helped Bury beat Plymouth to keep their slim hopes of a League Two play-off place alive.

Andrew Tutte gave the Shakers an early lead, firing past Jake Cole, before the visitors had a chance to equalise through Reuben Reid's header.

But Nardiello scored a spot-kick just after the break after a foul by Durrell Berry, before heading in another.

Danny Rose completed the scoring late on with a side-footed shot to leave Bury seven points off the play-offs.

Bury manager David Flitcroft told BBC Radio Manchester:

"It was an incredible display, I thought, really professional.

"Some of the combination play was outstanding.

"There's a real synergy about the team. I think that's what I love more than anything. There's a real synergy between the way we attack and they way we want to defend.

"That's what happens when you've got a team that all believe.

"It was a real unified performance today."
