Berwick Rangers 1-2 Peterhead

Berwick Rangers' hopes of securing a place in the promotion play-offs were ended by a home defeat by League Two champions Peterhead.

Lee Currie put Berwick in front just after the half-hour when he smashed a superb 30-yard free-kick beyond goalkeeper Graeme Smith.

But Rory McAllister slammed in his 31st of the season after 62 minutes.

And he doubled his tally from the penalty spot to condemn Berwick to another season in League Two.

In the end, even a victory would not have been enough for the home side, with Stirling Albion securing the final play-off spot by defeating Clyde.
