Bristol Rovers 1-1 Dover Athletic

Bristol Rovers missed the chance to move in to the Conference play-off places as Tom Murphy struck a last-gasp equaliser for Dover.

The Pirates led when Adam Cunnington turned Stuart Sinclair's shot past Andy Rafferty from close range.

Dover began the second half quickly and Christian Nanetti's long-range strike forced a superb save from Will Puddy.

Rovers looked set to move up to fifth until Murphy volleyed in Tyrone Sterling's cross in the 90th minute.

Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke told BBC Radio Bristol:

Clarke on Bristol Rovers v Dover

"It's a very quiet changing rooms in there. Obviously the lads are very disappointed, as well as the staff, because we should not have chucked it away. We should be sat here with three points.

"We have got to be more clinical at the top end, but then again there keeper has made good saves. They've put their bodies on the line and I'm sure they'll be very happy with a point

"We were very rarely in trouble; there was only a lapse in the first half when they hit the post but other than that I think we defended very well.

"We just need to be more clinical at the top end. But I'm not going to be to critical of the boys. It's another game where we are undefeated and it's about all the negatives about today being put right for Tuesday night."
