Hawley joined Alfreton as a free agent in September having left Torquay in August
Karl Hawley scored twice against his former club Torquay to help Alfreton Town end their four-match losing run.
Paul Clayton flicked the ball on for Hawley to open the scoring before Louis Briscoe levelled with a curling effort.
Tom Shaw restored Alfreton's lead, only for Briscoe to equalise again, turning in a close-range effort after a deep throw-in from Courtney Cameron.
Clayton then lifted the ball over goalkeeper Martin Rice to make it 3-2 before Hawley completed his brace.
