Matty Hughes: Chester sign Fleetwood striker on loan

Chester FC have signed Fleetwood Town striker Matty Hughes on a one-month loan deal.

The 22-year-old joined the Cod Army in January, after scoring 16 goals last season at Skelmersdale United, but has made just two appearances so far.

Hughes began his career at Everton, but dropped into non-league with Gosborne Sports and Skelmersdale after being released by the Premier League club.

The forward is available for Chester's game against Aldershot on Tuesday.
