Vincenti joined Rochdale in the summer of 2013 from Aldershot
Rochdale midfielder Peter Vincenti says he is relieved his knee injury will only keep him out of action for six to eight weeks.
The 28-year-old ruptured his medial ligament against Swindon on 21 October.
"I got my studs caught in the turf and we feared the worst," Vincenti said.
"I had the scan and I look at it as a positive that when it came back it wasn't a cruciate, so it was good news really," Jersey-born Vincenti added to BBC Radio Jersey.
