Bell led his side into the first round of the FA Cup for only the third time since 1948.

First-team coach Micky Bell says Weston-super-Mare's FA Cup first round pairing with League One side Doncaster Rovers is a boost for the whole town.

The Seagulls, who beat Witham Town in the last round, are currently in the Conference South relegation zone.

Bell told BBC Points West: "I am pleased with it. Obviously I would've loved to have had Bristol City at home, but a League One team is superb.

"I am really happy and hopefully we'll get a full house for the game."

It is only the third time the club have reached the first round since being formed in 1948.

Bell continued: "They'll not know anything about us, so we can just go into the game relaxed and give it our best shot.

"It's massive in terms of financially for the club and it just sends a buzz around the club and the whole town. Everyone can get behind us.

"We will try and take it as a normal game. We have a great set of lads.
