  • Published

Forest Green won their first match in six with a victory over Dartford, in which Rovers' Eddie Oshodi scored for both sides.

Rovers took the lead early on through Oshodi's headed effort.

The home side looked to have sealed the points when James Norwood scored in the 70th minute.

Dartford set up a tense finale when Oshodi headed the ball past his own keeper with eight minutes left but Rovers held on for victory.

Pennock on Forest Green v Dartford

Forest Green Rovers boss Ady Pennock told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:

"That was a massive three points. There was something special today in that changing room - there's a lot of togetherness.

"A lot of people were saying we should have brought people in during the loan window, but I believe in these players.

"We are full of confidence. This week I want three wins - easy as that."
