Torquay United 1-2 Barnet

Barnet extended their lead at the top of the Conference table to nine points with victory at Torquay, despite both sides finishing with 10 men.

Mauro Vilhete put the visitors in front before seeing Bondz N'Gala dismissed for a professional foul on Ryan Bowman.

Torquay then saw Aaron Downes sent off for a trip in the box on John Akinde, who doubled his side's lead from the resulting penalty.

Courtney Richards netted a late long-range consolation but Barnet held on.
