Ezequiel Lavezzi joined PSG from Napoli
Ezequiel Lavezzi scored the only goal as Paris St-Germain closed the gap on leaders Lyon to one point with a narrow victory over Rennes.
Lavezzi smashed the ball home after Adrien Rabiot's pass over the top was squared to the striker by fellow Argentinian Javier Pastore.
PSG captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic was quiet again and has only scored one goal in his last six Ligue 1 games.
Lyon can restore their lead by beating Monaco on Sunday.
