Dagenham & Redbridge and Portsmouth settled for a point each from a goalless draw that ensured the sides stay level on points in mid-table.
The visitors had the best chance of a quiet first half when Jack Whatmough headed over Jed Wallace's corner.
Daggers almost led after the interval when Jamie Cureton and Alex Jakubiak combined to tee up Andre Boucaud, who smashed his shot wide.
Pompey nearly won it late on but Josh Passley's deflected shot was saved.
