Plymouth scored twice in the final nine minutes to beat Cambridge United and maintain their play-off push.
The mid-table U's, now winless in five League Two games, saw Sullay Kaikai's free-kick hit the bar and Luke McCormick make a superb save from Jordan Slew.
Olly Lee's overhead kick forced U's keeper Chris Dunn into action.
Late on, Dunn could only parry Bobby Reid's shot into the path of Ryan Brunt for the opener, before Lewis Alessandra's close-range finish.
Plymouth stay seventh in League Two, above Bury on goal difference.
