Riley has plenty of experience with teams trying to get into the Football League
Tranmere have signed central defender Martin Riley on a one-year deal from Mansfield Town.
The 28-year-old helped both Mansfield and Wrexham reach the Conference play-offs and also won the FA Trophy in his time at the Racecourse Ground.
Rovers are set to spend their first season out of the Football League in 94 years after relegation from League Two.
"He has good experience of this league and the one above. He's an excellent acquisition," said boss Gary Brabin.
