Chris Clements: Midfielder pens new deal at Mansfield

Mansfield Town midfielder Chris Clements has signed a new deal which takes him into a fourth season.

The 25-year-old, who has made 86 appearances in three campaigns with the Stags, helped Adam Murray's men avoid relegation from League Two last term.

Clements, who started his career at Crewe before joining Hednesford, has scored two goals for the club.

In April Murray described Clements as the "best midfielder" in the league and felt he would "struggle" to keep him.
