Padraig Amond scored 19 goals in 82 league games for Morecambe
Grimsby Town have signed striker Padraig Amond on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old was a free agent after being released by Morecambe at the end of last season.
He scored 19 goals in 82 league appearances for the Shrimps after joining from Accrington Stanley in August 2013.
Amond is the third player to join the Mariners this week after former Morecambe winger Marcus Marshall and ex-Cambridge defender Richard Tait.
