Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram made a vital late save to preserve his side's unbeaten league record and earn a draw at Crawley.

Ingram denied Roarie Deacon in a one-on-one with two minutes of the clubs' first-ever league meeting remaining.

Wycombe should have gone ahead after 10 minutes but Sam Wood sliced wide from six yards.

Ingram also saved from Crawley's Lewis Young, while winger Ewion Edwards put a left-foot shot wide.

Ainsworth on Crawley v Wycombe

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"To keep our defensive record of only conceding one, which I think is the lowest in the Football League, is fantastic.

"Crawley had a couple of good chances but Matt Ingram was at his best.

"Both teams were getting tired and it didn't look like anyone was going to get opened up. As the away team, it's probably a better point for us today."
