Stranraer ended a run of three league defeats with a hard-fought win over League One basement club Brechin.
Brechin conceded their 14th goal in the league this season when striker Jamie Longworth was the goal hero for Stranraer, working some space before slotting his effort home.
The hosts remain in eighth spot with six points.
However, Brechin are still searching for their first win after six successive defeats.
