Mansfield maintained their unbeaten home record this season with a goalless draw against fourth-placed Plymouth.
The Pilgrims had won three of their last four league away games but Mansfield goalkeeper Brian Jensen made a string of fine saves.
Plymouth went close in the early stages when Reuben Reid crashed a volley against the bar after five minutes.
Mansfield's best chance came in the first half when Nathan Thomas flashed a low shot across the face of goal.
Plymouth had the better of the second half, with Jensen in good form to twice deny Graham Carey.
Carey fired another chance wide from a central position while Matt Green's chip ended up in the side-netting for Mansfield as both sides searched in vain for the opener.
