Mansfield keeper Brian Jensen clears the danger from Zak Ansa
Three second half goals saw Mansfield secure their third successive win in League Two with victory over struggling Newport County.
Craig Westcarr volleyed home to give Mansfield the lead five minutes into the second half.
Malvind Benning's stunning volley doubled the home side's lead before substitute Adi Yussuf sealed victory.
It was John Sheridan's first defeat in charge of Newport and the Exiles remain bottom of the table.
Newport County manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Wales: "I'm not happy with the performance in the first half.
"I thought I was looking at a different team to the one I saw last weekend. But I've been here a short time and I'm giving players an opportunity.
"We are where we are for a reason but I definitely believe we can get out of this situation."
