St Mirren's Baird has red card overturned on appeal

St Mirren defender Jack Baird has had his red card against Falkirk downgraded to a booking.

However, team-mate Craig Reid must serve a one-match ban for his ordering off in the same game.

The Paisley side decided to appeal against the dismissals following the 3-0 defeat on Saturday.

Reid, a recent emergency loan signing from Motherwell, will miss the Championship visit of in-form Hibernian at the weekend.

Baird's handball during a St Mirren attack led to his dismissal while Reid committed a professional foul late in the game.
