Hartlepool United 1-0 Barrow

Michael Woods headed a stoppage-time winner as Hartlepool beat Barrow in their National League fixture at Victoria Park.

Byron Harrison wasted an excellent chance for the visitors after 15 minutes when he blazed over after being sent through on goal, before Carl Magnay and Woods sent efforts wide for Pools.

Barrow were creating the clearer openings but Jordan White missed a sitter on the half-hour mark and Bedsente Gomis saw his effort saved after the break.

Dan Jones drew an excellent save from Hartlepool goalkeeper Scott Loach and Liam Hughes had an effort hacked off the line, while at the other end Jonathan Franks hit the woodwork late on.

Woods' decisive strike came during seven minutes of injury time after one of the referee's assistants had required lengthy treatment before being replaced by the fourth official.
